We will review some of the points covered in the previous articles. Along with tips to help your Blog achieve its primary Goal. The first thing you need to do is get a copy of my CSF Blog Planner. There is a link to my shop at the bottom of every page.
Why should you get this amazing organizer? Well that is the reason, it helps you to organise EVERY aspect of your blog business. Even some of the things you have not thought of yet.
There are To Do Lists, Daily Schedules, Blog Series Planners, Gift ideas, A Business Plan – yes it is real. There are resources to access, financial and social trackers and so much more, 67 pages of organising your life into a plan to help you make money blog the best way you can!
Let people see the real you
Don’t try to pretend you are more than you, be yourself. You can learn a lot about a writer by reading their blogs. Some are lifeless with no personality, whereas others are so over the top that you ask yourself; “Sounds too good to be true”. You do not want either of these situations or your readers will soon leave. Put YOUR personality in them and let others see that you are real and normal.
Most of all, Lighten up and have fun with it. Life is not meant to be all work and no play. Balance is the key. When you are seen as genuine, then your readers will treat you like a loyal friend, someone they can trust. Don’t let them down, be their trusted friend and they will buy from you.
This way you can sell to them to make money with your blogging friendship. Just be honest and genuine as you do it.
Create an About Page
The About you page is an important part of your blog that people should be able to find and read. This usually means they are fun and light hearted where writers can let their hair down and tell their own story. This helps your readers to connect with you and then they will read your other blogs. Don’t just explain the Business side of your blog, which may need to be there, but can come across as boring to some. Add your personality too make it connect.
It is good to have an About page, as it lets readers learn more about you. You can include a picture, your history, links to other websites you may own. Or even a blog you have written about yourself! Also show the success you have made as your journey progresses. Include any big sales or deal you made.
People like to know that they are following someone who appears to be on the right track. Show them that they can make money blogging because you have too.
Reply to Comments
Always make sure you reply to comments. Sometimes the comments are just a a simple thank you, but it is comforting to know that the Author has read and acknowledged it. And other peoples comments too.
It is great to read the writers answers to questions left in comments. Or if I make a comment, that the Author reply’s to my own email address with the answer or thought.
It also encourages readers to return to the blog again to read the comments left in reply to their comment.
Build Loyal Followers
If you want to make money blogging, then you need to invest some time and money (yes spend it, to earn it) in building your Loyal customers.
Affiliate marketing is by far the biggest income earner for bloggers along with sponsored advertising. To get these companies on board, you have to reach out to them. And to do that, you can search your Niche area for companies that have affiliate products (like Amazon). Then you can use my Sponsored planner to track any leads to get your connection to suitable sponsors. Also companies like Fiver can create online videos for you to attract the right customers.
Make it Easy to Sign Up
Never would you want to click on a dead (404) link when your interested in a blog. You probably just left the page, never to return. I have done just that – a lot lately too. Also when you click on a signup form and it asks you to identify all the road crossings in a Captcha Security Link. You never get it first time, and again you leave.
Make it easy for your readers to sign up or subscribe to your blog or email courses! Also include links to your social media accounts, this is another source of loyal followers you can build. And it gets your blog out there more to be seen. The more viewers, the more you will make money with your blogging.
Make Friends
Build your own community of blogging friends. Making friends through your blog is not only enriching for yourself, but it enables opportunities to help each other when needed and to keep up with the changing conditions. Especially in this current world environment. Friends are what drive you forward.
Reach out by replying to your comments and reply to others blog posts. Comment on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter and so on. Of course, don’t just try to promote yourself (immediately) be a friend first. Be yourself.
Link Your Social Media Accounts to Your Blog
You can add a Twitter, Facebook or other link on every blog you write that will add your handle (Id) to their account so that they can tag you with a comment to their friends, A great way to get free advertising. People like to tweet posts that they enjoy. Sometimes though, you click on the tweet button, and the person’s Twitter handle does not automatically show up. Fix Yours Now!
